A recent study suggests that running 50 minutes per week can lower your risk of premature death from all causes. That’s good to read, but not everyone wants to run. Some people can’t run. What are the equivalents? Looking at this another way, sitting 12 or more hours a day is too much and has a 38% higher risk of death than those who sat 8 hours a day.........

Inactivity is what is making your muscles hurt, making them stiff and inflexible. That didn’t happen until you got older and your muscles started going downhill. You can stop and even reverse that downhill slide...... One thing, effort! When you engage more, you influence your aging trajectory.

Chronic pain, weight gain, back pain, ‘tennis elbow,’ shoulder issues, hand cramps, reduced stamina, and balance. We all have ideas and opinions why these conditions occur, but few of us look at or mention the obvious facts, probably because, the obvious facts require effort.
